sribatsha dash Chapter I, take it apart. A small figure takes a box apart until three true bits are left, and builds a tulip back up from them. Hi, I'm Sribatsha. I like taking things apart until only the true bits are left, then building back up from there. First principles, mostly. It's slower, but it's the only way I've found to really understand something. Chapter II, slow down. The figure walks on autopilot, stops, and works a thought through slowly. I try to catch myself running on autopilot. Quick thinking is fine for small things, but for the decisions that matter I slow down and actually work them through. System 2, as Kahneman would say. Chapter III, the most good. One tulip is planted, its seeds spread, and people come to learn. Effective altruism is the question I keep coming back to: of everything I could build, what does the most good for the most people? Right now my answer is teaching, which is why so much of what's below is a world you can learn in. Chapter IV, most nights. At a desk under a lamp, things are made and land in a garden as tulips. Most nights I'm making something. This page is the garden of all of it.

Now growing — Tulip Labs. A school where every chapter is a world you can play in: complexity, data structures, build-your-own-X, modelling and statistics. Read it, poke the simulation, then solve the puzzle.

A garden of pixel tulips, one for every public repository, planted by year from 2021 to now
Plate I: Worlds you can walk through
  • Tulip Labs — a school made of voxels. Every chapter is a world, then a puzzle. repo
  • ULTRON Lab — data structures and systems from first principles: twelve 3D worlds and an interview arena.
  • Neuron Voxel Lab — machine learning from first principles, with live equations beside every voxel lab.
  • Channel Fifteen — how a Mac learned to talk to earbuds, from electrons to a menu-bar app. 13 chapters, 43 plates.
  • EE Curriculum — from CS to real electrical engineering in 12 months: SPICE, Verilog and radio in the browser.
  • Deep Roots — the root knowledge each field keeps to itself. Module one: memory, from silicon to GC.
  • Stats — statistics with 3D labs and Python running right in the page.
  • DeepForge · BugForge · Ascent — build ML from scratch, debug real codebases, prep for interviews. All in the browser.
Plate II: Solana, by hand
  • sortie — a semantic execution debugger. Rebuilds CPI trees, turns 0x1771 into slippage exceeded, profiles compute. Ships an MCP server.
  • mycelium — write Solana programs in Zig. Visibility over convenience, comptime over runtime.
  • solana-indexer — the skill that teaches indexers end to end: Geyser, backfill, Postgres, streaming.
  • solana-superchargers — production-grade Claude Code and Codex skills for Solana builders.
  • vAMM — an AMM that breathes with the market.
  • lockr — escrow for Indian freelancers. Fiat in, USDC out, three-second settlement.
  • Sports Workbench — every sports signal, backtested and signed on chain. @sportsworkbench
  • the-last-bit-rsol — the last projects hand-coded in Rust and Solana.
Plate III: Nothing leaves your device
  • Lenses — five offline auditors for the files you ship: EPUB · Office · OpenDocument · SVG · web archives, and an MCP server.
  • attest — check C2PA Content Credentials offline: the real signature, chain and binding.
  • keepsake — own your AI memory. An encrypted, portable vault with an app, a CLI and an MCP server.
  • mcplint — audit an MCP server before your agent connects: schema, token cost, risk.
  • datapact · lockstep — data contracts checked against real CSVs; Node and Bun versions kept from drifting.
  • Bionic Page · Bionic Docs — bionic reading for web pages, PDFs and EPUBs, done on your machine.
  • PocketVeto — one radar for every date your money moves. No bank link, no server.
Plate IV: Agents and other minds
  • nnn — five coding agents on one local 7B Qwen. No API key, no cloud.
  • Customs — agents can finally pay: signed mandates, a hash-chained ledger, real test rails.
  • OAuth Ready — will this integration take an hour, or eight weeks of review? Evidence, and a live research agent.
  • EvalGate — a deterministic statistics gate for AI evals in CI: pass@k, bootstrap intervals, regression bands.
  • d-pill — a design skill for agents that build interfaces.
  • ai-miden · img-to-3d · neuro-2e — AI from scratch, photos into 3D models, a cognitive system for the 2e thinker.
Plate V: Light, type and pixels
  • Morphotype — a type and logo lab. Morph fonts, animate them, render them in live GPU materials.
  • apse — a WebGPU renderer built to be fast, small and correct by construction.
  • Afterglow — a voxel Tokyo at sunset, with a soundtrack that writes itself.
  • Moonfall Valley — a crimson-and-gold dragon over a valley, built procedurally in Blender, alive in three.js.
  • Shader Labs — drop-in WebGL shaders. One file, no build step.
  • Facet · d-pill-ui — design systems that audit themselves, with a 16-rule gate that runs in your browser.
  • Aurelia — beauty advice with a mechanism, worked out on your device.
Plate VI: Languages, runtimes and wires
  • Earshot — a macOS menu-bar app for realme Buds: battery, ANC, EQ and taps, no phone needed.
  • tomato-css — a CSS preprocessor where you write less. body: pad 4, bg cream is the whole idea.
  • lsp-server — lexer, parser, AST, analyser, symbols, interpreter, each in its own Rust file.
  • serve-md — cd into a folder, type one command, get a docs site. A ~2 MB Rust binary.
  • andro-substrate — a browser-native DEX runtime for watching untrusted Android bytecode. No kernel, no egress.
  • snip — code snippets and social cards from the terminal. @srivtx/snip on npm.
