How to add documentation to my application developed using Spring Integration?

Hi team. How to add documentation to my application developed using Spring Integration (SI) bcaz Spring REST docs is not useful in this case as it expects standard Controllers to create documentation while SI is more of declarative approach. Neither your SI in Action book nor the Spring Intergration (https://spring.io/projects/spring-integration) website cover this. Please explain the best way to achieve this. Thanks.
