I am using this like an Archive of Old Messages that are already exported and Deleted on Phone, would be great to have a Search for all Imported ZIPs, not go through every chat to Search for a specific word
Triage update (2026-10-13): the global-search implementation is present in v1.31.0, but the normal UI is deliberately disabled by GLOBAL_SEARCH_V1_ENABLED = false; only the dedicated test/benchmark harness can expose it. Keeping this open as an enhancement until the gate is intentionally enabled, the full suite passes with it enabled, and a release/deploy is verified.
