This commit was pushed to the #38 branch after #38 had already merged, so it never reached main. Cherry-picked unchanged onto a fresh branch.

Changes

  • Meetup sponsorship page (docs/sponsorship/meetup.md):
    • Remove the 5% PyTexas Conference sponsorship discount.
    • "Call to Action" becomes "Link to Your Website". The sponsor contract's IRS qualified sponsorship clause rules out a call to action; a website address is allowed.
    • The sponsor talk must be given during the sponsorship term.
  • CLAUDE.md: just commands, how to retire a page with a redirect, and a yearly checklist of pages that go stale.
  • .ai-sessions/: session summary and a lesson about keeping sponsor benefits inside the qualified sponsorship clause.

The contract itself lives in pytexas/contract-assembler#1.

Testing

uv run mkdocs build --strict passes with no warnings.

The new meetup sponsorship agreement (kept in the private
contract-assembler repo) drops two things the page promised:

- The 5% PyTexas Conference sponsorship discount per quarter is gone.
- "Call to Action" becomes "Link to Your Website". The contract's IRS
qualified sponsorship clause rules out a call to action, while a
  website address is allowed.

The page also now says the sponsor talk must be given during the
sponsorship term, matching the contract.

CLAUDE.md picks up the just commands, how to retire a page with a
redirect, and a yearly checklist of pages that go stale.
