Thank you for this project, it has been extremely helpful for me because I want to use the tags with both Android and Apple devices.
The previous version (v1.0.5) worked fine on my device (Pixel 5). But for this latest one (v1.1.0), the app can be installed but it crashes immediately when I open it.

Which exporter made the zip?

Hi, one immediate fix that you can try if you are fine with this is go to Settings > Apps > OpenTagViewer, force stop and try cleaning the cache and then reload the app.

If this doesn't fix it, clear the data (though note this would get rid of any accumulated tag history, so if you're not fine with that you can skip it) and then reload the app.

I have an idea for what it might be and I want to test this first because even if it isn't your problem it may still be a problem in general.

Can you answer these questions for now?

1. What's your Android version
2. Did you clear the data or only the cache?
3. Is there any chance you would be able to take a crash log over adb (which works even though the app never opens and doesn't require the full Android Studio install if you don't want it):

adb logcat -b crash -d

That last one would most likely answer the question of what is happening in your case definitively.

first of all thank you all for the great work! I am also facing the same issue since the upgrade to 1.1.0.

1. Android Version: 13
2. Cleared cache, cleared all data, uninstalled, reinstalled, restartet the phone
3. Log from adb:

Hi @PBue (and @dphzz because I suspect you have the same issue) this bug is now fixed in App release 1.1.1 as of #233.

The problem was that the logic loading Apple's Anisette music library crashed on arm64 due to underlying implementation details, whereas the implementation details of the runtime are different on x86 where I had tested it. Updated the code to properly test it on both architectures moving forward.

Feel free to test that release.
