MOSIP-45488: Bake eSignet-go ui-test defaults into config and drop duplicate DB keys - #2529
jayesh12234 wants to merge 37 commits into
Conversation
Brings the Thunder/eSignet-go UI suite (actuator fallbacks, KBI, Mock MDS, consent registry) onto develop-go without environment secrets; config.properties keeps keys only. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in>
The jammy/Chrome rewrite is not needed for this PR and was raising Trivy findings on the new image. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in>
Drop run-specific notes, screenshot diagnostics, and session-only comments that were left in from local debugging. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in>
Keep executable code and Gherkin steps; drop //, block, and # comment text that was added for local debugging and review notes. Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in>
Fix push-trigger.yml startup failure from unsupported npm-build inputs, and add the ui-test Maven/Docker jobs so the image can be published. Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in> Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
This lets the fork build uitest-esignet on push to feature/MOSIP-45488-ui-test-esignet-go, not only on develop-go. Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in> Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
The suite already seeds login identity from config.properties, so a separate VID generation runner is not needed. Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in> Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com> Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in>
Signed-off-by: Jayesh Kharode <jayesh.kharode@technoforte.co.in> Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
…e DB keys. Env-invariant flags and endpoints stay in config.properties so Rancher only needs host/secret overrides. Consent DB now uses a single username/password/name key instead of Kernel aliases. Merge Risk: 🟠 High · up to The biometric test artifact now distributes a private-key keystore that could be extracted and used to impersonate a MOSIP device. Custom keystore selection can also be bypassed, causing Docker or Rancher tests to use the wrong trust chain; these security and correctness risks should be resolved before merge. 🚥 Pre-merge checks | ✅ 4 | ❌ 1❌ Failed checks (1 warning)

- Line 117: Update the JDBC URL construction in the consent database utility
around withJdbcDefaults so configured PostgreSQL connections require
sslmode=verify-full and use a configured CA trust root via sslrootcert; reject
the configuration if the CA value is missing rather than allowing insecure
defaults such as sslmode=disable.
In `@ui-test/src/main/resources/config.properties`:
- Line 30: Set the runPrerequisiteSuite configuration value to true by default
so Runner.startTestRunner() executes the prerequisite suites and provisions
required data; retain false only as an explicit environment-specific override.
- Line 12: Update the configuration near esignetActuatorEnabled so
sunbirdAuthenticatorActive and pluginToExecute are explicitly set to values
matching the target deployment, avoiding blank-value fallback behavior used by
EsignetUtil.getPluginName() and UINManager. Use false and mock for the mock
deployment, or true and mosipid when those are the actual deployment values.
- Line 108: Remove the hardcoded esignetDbUsername value from the tracked
configuration and resolve it through the supported ConfigManager override using
ESIGNET_DB_USERNAME. Update EsignetConfigManager to explicitly expand that
environment variable when the inherited manager does not, without relying on
unimplemented placeholder expansion.
