What changed

  • Added exercise_pose_interpolator.py to generate smooth transitions between exercise pose images using RifeMetal.
  • Added batch_exercise_animations.py to process multiple exercises and generate looping GIF and animated WebP outputs.
  • Added configurable pose ordering, interpolation steps, frame rate, and background processing options.

These scripts help automate exercise animation generation and reduce manual effort when preparing visual assets. Generated animations are optional outputs and do not replace the required three transparent 512 × 512 SVG frames and their PNG sources.

Verification

  • npm run check
  • Assets and metadata include appropriate attribution
  • UI changes work with keyboard navigation and reduced motion
  • Tested both scripts with sample exercise images
  • Verified generated GIF and WebP animations loop correctly
