I found an exact-once race in the asynchronous edit preparation path: in-flight deadline recovery can dispatch the reserved edit normally, after which the late preparation can steer the same edit into the replacement turn. Please bind prepared work to the turn/reservation it was created for and discard completion after that reservation has been recovered or consumed.

When this newly subscribed edit targets a threaded reply and starts a normal turn, dispatch_pending still derives typing_scope by calling parse_thread_tags on the raw kind:40003 event. Its bare e target is intentionally ignored there, so build_typing_event emits an h-only indicator and Desktop records it at channel scope rather than in the original thread. Resolve the edit target for the typing scope, or update the scope after edit enrichment, so users viewing the thread can see that the agent is responding.

When an accepted edit is still queued or reserved and a membership-removal notification drains the channel, this now adds 👀 to the original message, but EventQueue::drain_channel returns raw edit IDs and omits withheld IDs entirely; the removal handler consequently tries to delete a reaction from the auxiliary edit instead of the visible original. In contexts where deletion remains permitted, the original still keeps a stale 👀 indefinitely. Have the drain path return the same reaction_target_id values used here, including withheld reservations.
