StockWatchForMac

A macOS menu bar app built with Python that displays live stock prices directly in your status bar.

Installation

1. Clone the repo:

   git clone https://github.com/arnav-sran97/StockWatchForMac.git
   cd StockWatchForMac

2. Create a virtual environment and install dependencies:

   python3 -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate
   pip install -r requirements.txt

3. Run the app:

   python3 stockwatch.py

Usage

Click the ticker/price shown in your Mac's menu bar to open the dropdown and switch between tracked stocks.# StockWatchForMac
