meta-embedded-plus

This layer enables AMD Embedded Plus platform.

For detailed steps on setting up the EDF Yocto environment, including host requirements, layer configuration, and build instructions, refer to the AMD EDF Documentation.

Embedded Plus buildable machines and images

The following MACHINE and build target combinations are possible to build artifacts in SDT flow for the Embedded Plus platform:

NOTE: DISTRO=amd-edf-small is required only for the AMR APU to reduce the APU image size.

Usage examples:

For AMR APU Image (requires amd-edf-small distro):

DISTRO=amd-edf-small MACHINE=emb-plus-ve2302-amr bitbake emb-plus-apu-image

For XRT/V80 APU Image (uses default amd-edf distro):

MACHINE=emb-plus-ve2302-xrt bitbake emb-plus-apu-image
MACHINE=alveo-v80-amr bitbake emb-plus-apu-image

For OSPI Image (uses default amd-edf distro):

MACHINE=emb-plus-ve2302-amr bitbake emb-plus-ospi-amr
MACHINE=alveo-v80-amr bitbake emb-plus-ospi-amr
