Hi Timur! Big fan of your work. I’m planning a Saturn homebrew project to port Tomb Raider 3 using OpenLara as a baseline, combining it with the Saturn Ring library C++ and ponut64's ADX driver.
The goal is to prove that with the right modern tools, we can crush the PSX version by utilizing Saturn’s native quad rendering. To handle TR3's massive levels, the game would feature a "Base Mode" for stock hardware and a "Premium Mode" utilizing the 4MB RAM cartridge extension. We are also planning native DualShock support (fully compatible with modern Retro-Bit controllers/receivers) and high-quality FMVs encoded via optimized Cinepak / Sega FILM tools.
I know you are incredibly busy with official projects, but I’d love to know your technical thoughts on its viability. If you ever have some free time, we would be deeply honored to have you as a technical advisor or mentor for the project, even if it's just sharing some insights. Thanks for inspiring the community!
