An Aroma plugin that loads cafe2wii (c2w.img) from the code/ folder of the Wii VC title you boot. With a patched c2w.img (for example from FIX94's c2w_patcher), the vWii CPU runs at 1.215 GHz instead of 729 MHz.
It works for titles installed on the internal storage (NAND) and on USB.
A title gets the redirect only when its code/ folder contains c2w.img. It must also contain:
| File | Source title |
|---|---|
c2w.img (patched) |
0005001010004001 |
boot.bin |
0005001010004001 |
font.bin |
0005001010004000 |
Without boot.bin or font.bin the console boots to a black screen when the title is on NAND. Titles on USB launch at the stock clock instead.
When you launch a USB title, the plugin copies these three files to /vol/storage_mlc01/usr/tmp/code/ on the internal storage first, because the USB drive is no longer mounted when the console switches to vWii mode. The copy is overwritten on every launch. If a copy fails, the title launches without the redirect.
Copy c2w_patcher_usb.wps to sd:/wiiu/environments/aroma/plugins/ and reboot the Wii U. Remove V10lator's c2w_patcher.wps if it's there.
With devkitPro, wut, the WiiUPluginSystem and a built libmocha:
make MOCHA_ROOT=/path/to/libmochaMOCHA_ROOT can be left out when libmocha is installed into $DEVKITPRO/wut/usr.
With Docker:
docker build . -t c2w-patcher-usb-builder
docker run --rm -v "$PWD":/project c2w-patcher-usb-builder makemake logs only errors (via OSReport). make DEBUG=1 adds information logging and make DEBUG=VERBOSE adds verbose logging, both through the LoggingModule, or Cafe OS and UDP logging when it isn't loaded. Run make clean when you switch between them.
make format formats the sources with clang-format.
