💡 What

Replaced .onTapGesture implementation on ChordRow and SequenceRow components with explicit Button wrappers.

🎯 Why

When an HStack (or any generic structural view) has .onTapGesture() attached to it in SwiftUI, it remains a passive element to the accessibility system. It cannot be tabbed to via keyboard navigation, and VoiceOver does not announce it as an interactive element. Wrapping the content in a semantic Button resolves these issues while retaining visual fidelity by using .buttonStyle(.plain).

♿ Accessibility

  • Keyboard Navigation: The rows can now be focused using the Tab key.
  • Screen Readers: VoiceOver will now correctly identify the interactive areas as "buttons" rather than treating them as static text blobs.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 13654466509448784520 started by @NSEvent

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Accessibility
    • Chord and sequence rows can now be activated using button controls, improving accessibility while preserving their edit behavior. Separate edit and delete buttons remain unchanged.

…accessibility

When an `HStack` is decorated with `.onTapGesture()`, it effectively becomes a dead zone for keyboard navigation and screen readers because it lacks native semantic traits of a control. By replacing the explicit gesture modifier with a `Button` wrapper using `.buttonStyle(.plain)`, VoiceOver correctly announces the row as interactive, and keyboard users can easily tab to it, while preserving the visual aesthetic and tap bounds via `.contentShape(Rectangle())`.

📝 Walkthrough

ChordRow and SequenceRow replace content-area tap gestures with plain-style buttons that invoke onEdit. The palette records accessibility limitations attributed to tap gestures on structural SwiftUI views and recommends a plain-style button with a rectangular content shape.

The palette heading could direct contributors toward an inaccessible interaction pattern despite the entry’s Button guidance. Correct the heading before merging; the changed rows preserve their intended tap areas.

## 2024-11-20 - [SwiftUI Button Accessibility for Controller Map Sheet]
**Learning:** Icon-only buttons used for controller mapping toggles in `ChordMappingSheet.swift` often lack `.help()` modifiers, making them inaccessible to hover-driven mouse users, even if `.accessibilityLabel()` is present.
**Action:** Always verify symmetry between hover tooltips and accessibility labels on all icon-only buttons representing hardware actions.

Correct the heading to match the guidance.

The heading recommends .onTapGesture, but the entry says it limits keyboard and VoiceOver access and recommends Button. Rename the heading to say “with Button” so it matches the documented action.

🤖 Managed by GLM-5.3 Flash (local model on kmacbeast). Closing because Closing: chord and sequence rows are draggable and intentionally use .onTapGesture — wrapping them in a Button can break drag initiation on macOS, and each row already has an explicit, labeled Edit button for keyboard/VoiceOver users (see .Jules/palette.md maintainer rule).

Understood. Acknowledging that the previous approach breaks drag initiation on macOS and violates maintainer rules for draggable rows containing their own buttons. I have reverted those changes and instead implemented a new, compliant UX improvement: adding a missing .help() tooltip modifier to the icon-only dismiss button in the Feedback form, ensuring symmetry with its existing VoiceOver label.
