Render shadow-root without body

I created an extension and the shadow-root was rendered this way.

But I changed something and it started rendering with a body, and that body broke the design of the page where I was injecting that code.

Override @webext-core/isolated-element to the next major version, it doesn't use a whole HTML doc inside the root.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. This project is in a monorepo and I'm using Bun, which doesn't support nested overrides.

Any idea when this change will be implemented?

It's been merged into the major branch, so it will be out in the next major version. No ETA.

But you shouldn't need to use a nested override, just "@webext-core/isolated-element": "^2.0.0" should work with bun.

I found the problem, bun only accepts overrides in root package.json on monorepo.
