The CV process is extremely slow: ALM spends several hours just processing the “Number of constraints” step.

Dear,
I am using ALAMODE to extract third- and fourth-order force constants. The supercell contains 189 atoms and belongs to space group I-4 (No. 82). A total of 120 DATA sets were used. ALM prints the following message:
Generating constraints for translational invariance ...
HARMONIC ... done.
ANHARM3 ... done.
ANHARM4 ... done.
Finished !
After several hours, however, no new messages are generated, and the program does not start calculating the “Number of constraints.” How can I handle this situation?

This issue was resolved by setting FCSYM_BASIS = C.
